and their families with both financial and emotional support including sending care packages, clothing, toys, school supplies, household help, etc. We’ve also sponsored several s’machot for children who have lost parents including four Bar and Bat Mitzvot and two weddings. One of our most important accomplishments has been our Play Therapy Center in Ofakim which offers weekly interactive programming to 34 children who have lost one parent, together with the surviving parent.
The number of children who need our help is growing exponentially.
To date, there are almost 900 children in Israel who have lost a parent due to 10/7 attacks and the ongoing war. We need your help to keep up with the growing demand and ensure that we will never have to turn a child away due to lack of funds. Already we have had to lower the amount of financial assistance allocated to each family so that we can assist more families.
